FORWARD WATCH
FORWARDS
Selecting forwardline players is one of the most tricky in
Super Coach. Players in the forwardline often rely on players up the field to get
the ball to them (especially key forwards). This can result in inconsistency from
many players. Smaller forwards can also suffer if supply to them in reduced.
This gives way to forwards who can go through the midfield or play up the
ground as ones you should be looking at. But that is not to say the big key
forwards are to be ignored players such as Buddy Franklin and Travis Cloke are
will good buys. But as usual at the Super Coach Doctor we try to look a little
left of centre and give you some options others may not be looking at. Here are
a few of them.
Steve Johnson –
Geelong, $581,700
Stevie J took a big step forward last year

RUCKMAN WATCH
RUCKS
Your ruck selection is a vital part of your team because the
ruck is a position where you can choose your two at the start of the season and
leave them there for the whole year so getting it right at the start is
crucial. This year is a bit trickier than past ones as the usual combo of Cox
and Sandilands is being challenged with the emergence of high more high scoring
big fellas like Goldstein and Mumford. As usual we will try to look a bit left
of centre as you don’t need to go over things you already know. Here are a few
we think you should be looking at over the NAB Cup.
Ben McEvoy – StKilda,
$548,800
Last year was a breakout year for Ben

MIDFIELDER WATCH
MIDFIELDERS
The midfield is probably the most
important part of your side. It is where players accumulate the most points so
it is vital that you get a strong midfield. In saying that it is also the
position with the most choice of players that score over 100 points per game so
who you pick in this position can be tricky due to the amount of choice.
Hopefully this guide will help you over the NAB Cup when you are looking at midfielders.
But in this blog I am not going to cover the big guns, your Swan, Pendlebury,
Ablett etc. Everyone knows them so there is no point going over them again. Our
aim here is to give you a few new things to think about to give you an edge
over your mates this season.
Joel Selwood – Geelong, $604,600
Joel is set for a huge year.

SUPER TIP - UPGRADING
SUPER COACH SUPER TIP - UPGRADING
For good Super Coach players the
aim should be to have a team full of keepers. The faster you can do this the
better you will score. So what exactly is a keeper? A keeper is a player who
once he gets in your side you will not trade him out. Generally they are
players who average over 100 points but can be players with an average of 90+.
Once you

DEFENDER WATCH
Here at the Super Coach Doctor we
try to give punters tips that others don’t. Anyone can say put Dane Swan in
your team he will give you heaps of points. Everyone knows that. So throughout
the pre season we will be going through the different positions and give you
some players to look out for over the NAB Cup that others may not think of.
Then as the NAB Cup concludes and we have been able to assess players a bit
better we will make some serious recommendations of players you could put in
your team. We will begin with the defenders.
DEFENDERS
We all know Goddard, Deleidio,
Scotland and Fisher are stars but who is someone that can set your team apart
from others. For a few unique keepers to look at this season.
